October 2004:

Dear Cousins

I still do lots of gymnastics and I am in a pair and a trio. My first big competition is in February. We have all just got new kittens. My kitten is a ginger one called Oscar. He is a very lovely kitten. He climbs up my trouser legs and it hurts a bit.

I still play lots of football and I now swim for the Eltham Stingrays. I train twice a week. I have been to see my new secondary school and will start next September. I have just gone up to scouts. My kitten is a tabby one called Sooty.

Hi kids,

Hope you are all OK. As you can see from the kids messages we have a new mummy cat and three kittens. Unfortunately our old cat Sophie died just after Christmas and Chalkie died a few weeks ago. Do you remember them? We felt very sad without them and I contacted a cat rescue home to see if they had any kittens. They had a Mummy with kittens and didn't want to split them up and they were so desperate to find them a home that I found myself agreeing to keep all four! We had to drive up to Canning Town in East London which was an adventure, I was worried I might get back to my car and find all the wheels gone! They are great fun but take up quite a lot of time at the moment. The kids love them to pieces and we keep nearly being late for school because they don't want to leave them. Do you have any pets?

Anyway guys, hope you are well and get the vouchers that I send. Take care, lots of love

March 2004:

Hello

I haven't seen you for a long time and I hope to see you soon. On Saturday's I play football for Bad Saints Football team. We have done a couple of tournaments on astro turf and won the last one we played. I scored a goal from a goal kick as a keeper! We play at Norman Park on normal training days. I also play after school on a Thursday. Uncle Chris has taken me to see a couple of proper football matches. We saw Chelsea play Leicester City which Chelsea won 2-1. It was brilliant because we were sitting right behind the goal. After football on Thursdays I go to cubs, I'm a sixer and I got the Cub of the Year award for 2003. School is boring but I'm quite looking forward to going to France in 2005.

Hi

How are you doing? I go to Ravens Wood school which is good. Some of the teachers are a bit boring but the foods good. On Fridays I do swimming and I'm doing my Rookie Lifeguard course. I like going out with my friends to the cinema and other places. I still do scouts and now I'm an assistant patrol leader. Its quite good because you get to plan weekends away and do more exciting things. I had to cook for 36 people last time we went away. I am going skiing with the school in February half term. We are going to the French Alps. Lots of my friends are going so it should be a good laugh.

Dear Christopher, Elliott and Steven

I am seven now and I had a trampolining party which was good fun. I go to gymnastics and I'm in the Acrobatic Gymnastic Squad which is really hard work but good fun. I train three times a week. My best friends are still Sasha and Bethany and I see them a lot and have sleepovers. I have just become a Brownie it is really good fun you do things like painting, cooking and trying out new things. I haven't got the uniform yet I have to learn my promise first. I still go swimming. It snowed here last week and we had good fun in the garden making snowballs and snowmen. Daddy bought a new sledge which we tried out.

Dear Christopher, Elliott and Steven

Long time no speak!! We hope that you are well and happy where you are living now. Your cousins and us miss you a lot and hope to see you again one day. As you can tell the children are very busy. I'm going to buy a sign to put on my car that says "TAXI"! I hope you get the birthday money that we send and enjoy spending it. I know it's not much but it's difficult to know what to send. Take care of yourselves, you know where we are if you need us.

Lots of love

Auntie Bev and Uncle Paul
